All signers and witnesses (if required) must physically appear and present acceptable identification at the time of notarization.

  • Translation is not allowed during the notarization process. The Notary must be able to communicate directly with the signer in the language (i.e., English) that both the Notary and the signer can understand.

  • Complete document - a signer must present the Notary with a complete document, not just the signature page(s).

  • Document date - all documents must be dated the same day as the notarization or earlier, but never later and should only be signed in the presence of the Notary.

When you (as well as any additional document signers and required witnesses) arrive at your appointment, the Notary will review your document(s) to determine the notarization requirements and whether we are able to complete the notarization. From start to finish, the typical appointment takes about 5-10 minutes. We ask that signers and witnesses be prompt for the appointment.
